Our dog Baxter squeals with excitement as soon as we turn into the driveway of Southern Grooming and Boarding. He pulls us into the office because he cannot wait to play with all of his friends. He enjoys his stays there so much and it makes us happy knowing that he is under excellent care while we are away. The staff is friendly and they obviously love dogs.

I typically never write reviews, but I just had to finally leave a review for this wonderful place. I’ve taken my dog for boarding and baths here several times and they have completely impressed me. My neighbor recommended them to me after I had a bad experience at pet peredise. My dog is a very anxious dog and so I am so I didn’t want to expect too much after my experience at pet paradise because they’re such a big place. I was wrong and I am delighted that I was wrong. My dog gets super excited when we get there. She doesn’t even look back when I drop her off. The staff seems to be primarily women, which makes me feel at ease. From the first time I went for the temperament test to now, they always greet me with such a big smile and they know my dog so well. They pay such attention to detail that it makes me so happy and not feel guilty when I leave my dog plus I love the pictures they send and how they pay attention to everything about my dog. I am not playing favorites here but one of their staff, who I believe her name is yvett, is so sweet and my dogs seems to trust her so much. She seems so genuine and not just customer service. When my neighbor mentioned about a very sweet and knowledgeable Hispanic girl I knew it was her immediately. She told me that she requests baths for her dogs when she works. I love all their staff though. I am so happy they have such good people taking care of my dog. She’s always so happy. I can’t recommend them enough and I hope they never close.

We have trusted Southern Grooming and Boarding with our dog for 9 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The communication during her stays is amazing-they send updates and photos that give us so much peace of mind. Our girl is now geriatric, and we truly appreciate how closely they monitor her and make sure she’s safe, comfortable, and not overexerting herself. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs like they’re their own.

You guys are awesome. You took great care of our Leah and Hershey. Even when Hershey lost her sister. We were so worried she wouldn't do well without her. You guys made her feel so loved and made her so happy we didn't think she wanted to come home. Sadly she has also passed away since then. You are the best boarding place around. ❤️❤️

Highest recommendation! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s such a breath of fresh air knowing our precious dogs are safe and in the best hands when we leave them here. ❤️🤗 We’ve been bringing our dogs to this boarding place for a while now, and it’s the only place I recommend to my family and friends. They are great with our anxious and shy dog and also our high-energy one. The staff listen, are very patient, professional, love dogs, and incredibly caring. They take time to find out about our dog’s personality, food needs, feeding schedule, meds, and even ask about our dogs character and more. Keep us informed. Send us updates and more. Boarding and property are very clean, AC Cool Climate Controlled, provide clean water, video surveillance inside, have plenty of staff during each shift to care for the needs of the dogs (many other shops only have 1-2 people). We’ve used both their grooming and boarding services. The grooming is excellent, they do well with our dog with sensitive skin, and they were careful about the shampoo they use and are good with our dog that does not like their nails cut. The outside dog yards have plenty of space to move around and shade and it’s open for everyone to see even when we pull up we can see all the dogs. Things that stand out to us is the communication from staff about our dogs, cleanliness of facility and excellent care for our dogs needs.l and my dogs love it there (they get get excited when we pull up to it and they love the staff). That alone says a lot to me. Both my dogs always come home clean, happy, and calm. Bottom line is I trust them completely with our dogs and know they are well cared for, treated kindly, keep us updated and they leave there in great shape. I highly recommend Southern Grooming and Boarding. It has been our #1 Choice for our precious dogs for us and our family and friends.
