(from Google)Decent sized preserve, lots of lush greenery, great views. Note: can hear traffic at times (bridge over street to cross between preserve sections), one porta potty at beginning, bring bug spray.
Awesome trail with a hill to get a really good workout in (and enjoy some foliage in the fall!).
Awesome Forest Preserve with a paved and gravel loop trail plus a wooded dirt trail. Beautiful place for a walk or run.
Good place to get a decent walk. The track is well maintained and clean. People were ice fishing on the frozen lake which was amusing. The place has a decent parking lot if you want to drive to this place.
This is a nice mile hike around an old quarry with paths that extend beyond the lake if you're looking for a little more distance. The trail is gravel and wide. Good for running, walking, or biking.
