(from Google)Next time I come here, it will be with my beautiful wife.
Fantastic hike with beautiful scenery. Just under a mile and a half around the whole thing, and not too many ups or downs, so an easy walk that's also easy on the eyes!
Very beautiful lake you can hike a mile from the south end to the north end and same vice versa. There is plenty of parking on the north and south end of the shores of next week in the past few years the lake waterline has been receiving slowly, but it is still a beautiful landmark would highly recommend for anybody traveling through Prescott Pines.
Beautiful location. The water level is still very low but otherwise it's very naturistic and tranquil.
A hidden gem! I almost don't want to share how beautiful and serene this place is so it doesn't get overcrowded. We kayaked all the way around the lake, water was calm and you could actually hear nature due to the fact that they do not allow motorized watercraft on this lake. We stayed at the campground nearby and were able to hike right up to the lake . There are picnic tables, covered ramadas, charcoal grills, & pretty clean toilets. The staff came throughout frequently to tidy up. The weather was perfect mid May.
