Brevard Spay/Neuter Clinic

In two different occasions, had my dog spayed and then a cat. They get the job done and have good prices for shots and things. It is definitely an in and out process, but as long as you follow the guidelines before and after and use common sense, healing is very fast. Don’t expect a warm environment like at your personal vet. There’s a reason you came here and not there where (at least for me) spaying was 5 times more at my vet. But the people here are still very nice and caring considering how much traffic they get. Highly recommend to get your pets spayed and neutered here!

Waited over an hour in the waiting room to get into the room with the Dr for him to insult me in front of my two young children. He asked why I wanted blood work done on my dog who is 8 years old and I explained to him that we have not changed his diet and he started to gain weight fast. I said he doesn't get table food or treats and we actually cut calories 2 months ago and started walking more and he still gained weight. He has gained 23lbs since his last vet visit. He asked if he was getting table food, I said no we are strict about food at the table in our new house. Then he asked me if he is eating stray cats or animals and I said no we just moved into a new build neighborhood with a big privacy fence. Then he asked if my neighbors were feeding him and I said no. He then told me that he didn't want to run blood work because it was just going to come back completely normal. He then began to go on a rant saying I was part of the troubled modern day mold of society ... I replied with I'm not trying to talk politics and not sure what you're implying and am just here to get vaccines and blood work on my dog because even after exercise and lower calorie diet he is still gaining weight and NO it's not environmental causes .. I told him my regular vet starts blood work at 8 years old on big breeds anyways and it wouldn't hurt to check. And he then told me that my vet doesn't care about me or my dog and is just steeling money from me? He then said I would be happier going some place else and I said you're right however my dog is being boarded soon and I made an appointment to be seen and pay for services and very confused on why this is a argument in front of my children. I waited for him to leave the room and stepped out and informed the front desk who is always nice to me about the issue .. I will not be returning due to the unprofessional vet. And wrote this review in case other people decide to take their kids with them to this man ... who knows what he'll say next .. yikes. I was just trying to do routine vaccines and bloodwork for a little bit cheaper, I rather pay full price than deal with a vet like that!

These people work Hard to make sure there's a manageable system in place for our feline neighbors - homes or stray. It's unreal what they do, the number of clients they have, and how nice and professional the staff are even with their impressive throughput. For us, as a client, they accepted our 4 girls in the morning, got them spayed and vaccinated, and had them ready before 4pm. All for an incredible price! We'll be doing our part to support them, these HEROES

This place is a high volume clinic so expect a possibility of a wait when you go in, which they do warn you about when making the appointment! The price is very affordable compared to other places even offering their yearly shots and a complimentary nail trim at no extra cost, they have some programs as well to help spay and neuter feral cats. The staff albeit it very busy is very friendly as well, even taking the time out of their day to call and ask how my cat was doing after surgery and to let them know if he faces any complications! Ive had both a female cat and a male cat spayed over there which went great, if youre looking to save money and dont mind a wait i would reccommend :)my i had cats spayed/neutered picture below

Very well organized and thoughtful clinic with helpful and pleasant staff. Very easy to make an appointment with reasonable prices. We brought in a mom and baby cat to be spayed and neutered. Got there a tad early with forms in hand and was out in 15 minutes. We returned around 4:30 for pickup and got our babies back by 5 pm. We had a onesie for the mom and a neck collar for the baby to ensure they didn't try to overly licking their stitches. It's been 5 days since surgery. The clinic called to check on the patients. I'm happy to report both mom and baby are covering just fine. Would highly recommend the folks over at this clinic.
