(from Google)I love this trail. It's clean and cozy, the best place to unwind.
Enjoyed the small walk while we were there
I absolutely love this trail. There are so many lovely parks and trails in Columbia..
I needed some running miles whilst passing thru the area. Strava indicated that there some Segments in this park, so I sought it out. I am very glad that I did! After parking at the trailhead off of Old 63 S, you have clean public toilets, maps, and clearly marked trails. The main trail along the river is a 4.0 mile (one way, 8.0 mile with return) double wide crushed gravel, with markers every 0.5 miles. Multiple river crossings are done with very robust wooden and metal truss bridges. Other paths are available for exploring, although less well marked. I definitely recommend if you want a great running experience!
Just passing through and my wife found this place on the bring Fido app- so glad she did out dogs had a blast first time my big one has ever had to swim up current for a stick and he loved it. Clean and wide trail great for bringing your dogs. Even if you are short on time and passing through it is a must stop! I live in NC and have saved it in my favorites as I transport for a living and will be back. 42 states and counting this was a great place to spend a couple hours. I did forget to add the lot I found this did Not have parking for semi trucks, or trucks and trailers but we took up 3 spaces due to having our camper and there were easily a dozen and half empty spots.
