Old Salt Park is one of those Florida spots that reminds you to slow down a little. Good place to hang out, fish, walk the beach, or just sit there and listen to the ocean do its thing. Not overbuilt. Not trying too hard. Just simple and solid. And let’s clear something up for visitors and tourists—fishing is allowed here under Florida state law. A lotta people seem confused about that. Respect the beach, respect the rules, clean up after yourself… and there’s plenty of room for everybody to enjoy it. You got surfers, fishermen, families, people drinking coffee watching the sunrise… everybody kind of coexisting. Good beach. Good atmosphere. Worth the stop.

Even after a king tide and nor'eastern, this was a beautiful beach. Not very crowded at all! Pet friendly.

It's a beautiful beach here in Palm Coast! It was our first time there, the sand looks and feels like sand, not all orange and gravel-y. Wasn't crowded, very clean & bathrooms! No rocks. It's our new go to beach!

Tropical storm Ian caused damage to the walkway, however beach access is still good. There are restrooms here with drinking water fountains and near the walkway is a shower with a foot rinse. There are no picnic tables or BBQ's. There are about 40 parking spaces, however I have seen people park alongside the road. There is a woman who has a horse riding business who is temporarily using the park for horse back riders. There are no hours posted on Old Salt Park, but I have been here early in the morning and sometimes in the evening to take photos at night of the beach without any hassles.

One of the best beaches in Palm Coast, FL. A dog friendly beach, parking, restrooms, a shower to wash the sand off, and a short walk over the dunes. A perfect setting for those beach pictures! Located next to Hammock Dunes Resort, just north of the toll bridge on Hammock.
