We had a great lunch at State of Confusion. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were in the mood for — the grilled chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly, and the ceviche tower was bright and delicious. It was a nice cool day, so we sat outside by one of the fires, which made the whole meal feel extra relaxing. Serenity took wonderful care of us — friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. She even comped the beignets for a birthday lunch, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely be back.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I’m here from out of town (west Texas to be exact). Found this place on google and was kind of hesitant to try, but I’m so glad I did! The outdoor area is wonderful, when our waiter came we ordered drinks and appetizer and our food. our drinks came, a shot time after our appetizer and then our entree shortly after that. The queso and guacamole were delicious. The steak was good and so was the shrimp. The salad was the best salad I have ever had. Food was so delicious. But the best was the Mac and cheese it was so delicious that I had to order 2 extra servings to take to the hotel for later. Our waiter DJ was so wonderful and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and food it was so great. I will definitely have to eat here again before I leave town.

This was a cool little outdoor eatery spot. There is not a big parking lot so be aware of having to find parking and walking. We went around 2pm and although it was super packed, our wait for 4, was nothing but 30 to 35 minutes for a table. So not bad. Our waitress was very nice. Our food did take a while to make and when recieved, the ceviche was the best ceviche we have ever had! Otherwise, other dishes, it was a little bland in flavor and seasoning. But other wise, decent brunch spot!

Friendly service. We had their ceviche sampler - delicious! We enjoyed a pisco sour - tasted exactly like we had in Peru - delicious. I had their baked sweet potato with chicken - good but HUGE! My husband had their grilled bologna sandwich and said it was delicious.

This place serves some of the best grilled dishes! Every single item we tried was full of flavor. Even the mac and cheese we ordered for our kid was yum - not greasy. We loved the lamb kebabs and chicken plancha - well-seasoned, and grilled just right. Our server recommended cheesecake for dessert, and it was phenomenal. The restaurant offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors.
