(from Google)Loved the trails! So great to have plenty of parking, bathrooms in the parking area, and running water outside the bathrooms for washing. It's amazing this is free. I have done the longest loop. I think 5 or 6 miles and loved it.
One of my favorite trails to explore. My only critic is please don’t come unprepared in the summer without sunscreen and water, the tree don’t provide nearly enough shade and the mosquitos can become overwhelming during hurricane season. The best time to enjoy this trail is November - April
This is a nice park with anything from 0.4 miles to over 5 miles in several loop options for hiking, trail running, biking, or even in horse. It's mostly Florida dirt: sandy trails that eventually lead to the river tributaries. Many people being dogs on leashes and seem to pick up after them! They also recently improved this park by adding restrooms. There are plenty fast-serve restaurants nearby if needed before or after the park visit. It's a lovely, simple park with both woods and small river views.
Great trail system for a family hike. We went in December and hiked the 4 mile loop. Plenty of parking and restrooms. The trail is pretty wide but lots to see and many benches scattered along the trail. It is well used by folks with horses and dogs so watch for squishy spots. Overall great place for a cool weather hike.
Loved it! The parking area is quite large and spacious. Theres some great loops and the trails are wide. There were people hiking, cycling, walking dogs - it was a great balance of being able to enjoy nature but also not feel alone. I didn't have high expectations, but was blown away.
