Dr. Angelo’s team is made up of an incredible assortment of kind souls who work hard to provide a positive experience for clients & pets. They are truly a caring bunch & I always know my pet is in good hands with them. ♥️ At our last visit, Shaelyn was very patient while helping soothe my anxious, reactive dog. She did a fantastic job talking me through the whole process & made sure all of my questions were answered. Thank you for being so gentle with my spicy coconut shrimp! 🌶️🥥🍤

Luca had his first vet appt. today and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience. Staff and Dr. Harper were very welcoming, friendly, and had great sense of humor. They were very careful and caring when handling our rabbit. We’ve been hesitant to book an appt. for Luca anywhere but so happy we found this place! Updated Review: Recently adopted a 2nd bun Canela and we already knew we would bring her to HVH for any needed care. Once again cannot say enough great things about the staff and Dr. Harper. Always have our questions and concerns answered and leave there happy and knowing our bun was given the best care.

We have taken our cat to Hayward Veterinary Hospital three times this year and have been consistently impressed by Dr. Keith Harper and his entire staff. Their compassion and thorough care are unmatched. I especially appreciate the follow-up calls after our visits to check on my cat’s progress. Dr. Harper is incredibly responsive to questions and always provides clear options. I really value how they make us aware of costs upfront and distinguish between what is necessary for a diagnosis/treatment versus what is simply recommended or can wait. They are very cost-conscious and reasonable. We are so happy to have finally found such a trustworthy and flexible vet for our cats!

Very good vet. Helped remove 4 teeth from my dog and he’s been doing better. Wish I went sooner. Good price. The picture is him after his surgery post op 3 weeks. He’s more healthier now.

I love this place!! Dr. Harper and his staff take such great care of all my pets. I bring my dogs and guinea pigs here. What I really appreciate is Dr. Harper is open to new information and ideas. I feel like we are in partnership in care for my guinea pigs, especially but also my dogs. Here's a story, I thought my elderly dog was at end of life and brought him in for euthanasia. I wholeheartedly trusted Dr. Harper to help me make that decision. Dr. Harper came in, examined my boy and asked if he could do x-rays. Turns out, Benito was healthy. He somehow experienced a collapsed trachea that Dr. Harper is treating with medication. THAT is the level of care and compassion you'll receive here --- from reception staff throughout the hospital, you'll receive great service!
