HERPS Exotic Reptile and Pet Shop

I went to the HERP‘s reptile and exotics pet shop on February 3rd. Over heard both of the employees at the front desk loudly talking a lot of drama about how they don’t like people from Conroe and that they’ll just keep driving their prices up just to keep them away. THAT’s not the thing that will keep them away…. this will. •out of stock of multiple products •never was asked if we needed any help. •The invertebrate room i assume was dirty the containers had mold/gnats in them from ROTTEN food. •Bearded dragons look SEVERELY dehydrated. •flies were all over the tortoises. •Water bowls were not clean/ barely had water in them. Over all would not recommend for my reptile enthusiasts. Definitely isn’t up to par with the usark standards.

The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the animals they care for. They took the time to answer every question I had and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Their selection is amazing — you’ll find species here that you just don’t see anywhere else, all healthy and well cared for. The staff was so HELPFUL will all of my millions of questions regarding our New Beardie!! Definitely will be going here for all of our reptile needs! Ariel is loving her new enclosure stuff!!

Amazing selection of critters! They are all well taken care of and look very happy and healthy! What a neat place. It was so tempting to walk out with a new pet right then and there. Will definitely be coming back for some frogs at a later date.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable and helpful, and they have all sorts of exotic pets from chinchillas to giant lizards. Someone is always sure to greet you when you walk in, and you can ask them ANYTHING. If they don't know the answer, they can help you find out. I seriously cannot recommend this shop enough, I'll never go to a different exotic pet shop again. They do boarding, they have everything you need to care for your exotic pet, and they could even help you if your pet is sick. Trust me, THIS IS THE PLACE YOU NEED TO SHOP!!
