(from Google)Trails are icy, bring microspikes so you don’t have to worry about falling on the descent, especially further up the trail. Lots of people on a Sat afternoon in December 2025, parking lot was full!
Very nice hiking place.. the trails are not easy to hike due to the quick climbing but it worth the sweat. We did the Flatiron trail loop. Beautiful views.
Beautiful area. Many trails, all marked and maintained well. Met no Platonists in any caves or crevices but the journey sufficed.
One of the best scenic areas I've ever visited. The Flatirons are beautiful. Parking is a bit scarce with this are being super busy but it's so well worth it—the views are just that amazing and the trails are very beginner friendly.
Today we had a family visit to Chautauqua Trail Overlook in Boulder. What a beautiful hike we enjoyed up to the tree line. The views are just stunning. Highly recommended trail and relatively easy. Stone path all the way.
