David's Dog Training

We got a rescue puppy and decided we needed a bit of help with training. David was wonderful with our puppy Leo. He is competent and confident yet gentle in his training techniques. I dont think we would have made so much progress without his help. Leo loved when his pal David came to visit. I would highly recommend David’s services. Worth every penny. :)

David has helped us train our new puppy, Ollie, from the day we brought him home at just 8 weeks old. Now he’s about 13 weeks and after an affordable 4 training session package with David, Ollie can sit, lay down, look at me, come, bring it, drop it, leave it, and more! David has trained and educated not just Ollie, but myself as well. I have learned a great deal about dog behavior and appropriate ways to handle it. If you are willing to put in the work when David is not around, you will be happy with all of the skills your dog will learn. I was skeptical about beginning training with such a young puppy, but it has really helped to make training basic commands & getting Ollie to pay attention to me so much easier. We now have the most well behaved puppy (outside of his bouts of regular puppy energy and zoomies) and are looking forward to hopefully being able to meet up with David for more socialization training in the future. David is responsive to text and phone call and is genuinely interested in your pups well being.

David was an absolute life saver when we got our puppy. He was patient and always available on the phone when we needed extra advice. He came to our house several times to show us what to do and how to train our pup and his calmness and knowledge gave us and our puppy Hamilton confidence. He is a true dog whisperer and our family would recommend him to everyone! Thank you David!

David is a great dog trainer! He focuses on using treats and positive affirmations with our dogs to get them to focus, listen, and learn. David also worked with my husband and I to teach us the best way to train and parent our two rescue pups (who have different behavioral needs). David had our dogs listening and responding to him within the first few minutes of walking through our door during our first session together. David was adaptable and helped us work with our dogs both outside and inside. He really got to know us and what works for the dynamic of our household. I am thrilled with the experience we had working with David and would recommend him to family and friends.

My husband and I rescued two sibling puppies in January. We hadn't had a dog in 4 years, and we have never had two!! I wanted to be sure that we were doing everything we should to raise two well behaved, happy dogs. I had one trainer come before David who I felt took our money and left us with nothing but advise I could easily have googled on the internet. I had read that sibling puppies can be a challenge and need to be socialized with other dogs, and have activities separate from each other. Both neighbors on each side of my home have dogs and I wanted David to assist us introducing them to our dogs and have a smooth transition, as well as some other issues we were experiencing. David was patient, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He commented on how well behaved the dogs were, and complemented us on how well we were doing thus far. He even went so far as to say he didn't think we needed to have him back. That showed me he wasn't looking to take my money, had a true love for animals and what he does, verses the first trainer who wanted us to sign up for 3 full sessions. I can't recommend David enough for his professionalism and help. Our pups are now 8 months old and doing great. I highly recommend David.
