(from Google)Not the worst, not the best. Lots of humans, not following procedures when entering and exiting the dog park. I have watched several dogs escape into the parking lot, from people leaving both gates open when entering and exiting. So ALWAYS be on alert when in this park. Park has very little shade. Nice if there are only a few visitors, but risky if you ask me.
Great place to bring your dog. There is a very large fully fenced dog area. It is common for there to be at least a few dog owners here at any given time, making it a great place for your dog to be around other dogs (and there are some humans to chat with if you want). There are also a dog friendly trails through the park and woods that you can enjoy. Picnic tables are also available as well. The view of the dam and river is also relaxing.
peaceful area, decent amount of parking. not a lot of shade or areas to sit, only saw one doggie clean up bag dispenser. came here late saturday evening (7:30pm) and the actual dog park only had 6-8 other dogs. came sunday (7am) and only saw two, so it doesn’t seem to get too crowded.
I met up with a friend who relocated to this area so that our dogs could meet. This is a very nice enclosed dog park. They had plenty of space to sniff and run. Visitors of the park were actively cleaning up after their pets, and all the pets seemed to get along and form little packs. The view of the dam nearby was beautiful!
I didn't visit the dog park, but it looked like a good one & was pretty active. I visited the Greenway for a bike ride & would advise taking handicapped route, where offered, if biking. Normal path has steep drops & climbs.
