Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital

I chose this vet because it is close to my house and often easy to get in for an appointment, but after taking each of my cats there once, I don't plan on going back. In my experience as it compares with seeing other vets, the doctors and techs don't have good "bed-side" manner; I honestly feel like they were uncomfortable in the room and my cat could sense it and he was way more nervous than he typically is at vets. Overall for both my visits the doctors seemed less than willing to be helpful. In my most recent visit I felt like I was the one driving the conversation about my cat, I was the one asking if they could do this or that to help him, and the doctor just seemed unwilling to do anything. In fact, she barely even touched the cat, and all I got out of it was a $79 bill for less than 5 minutes in the room with the doctor and now I'm going to have to take the cat to a different vet (who I have been to before but is harder to get an apt with) and who I know will do more to alleviate my cat's pain. Maybe they are better with dogs here, but my cat was not even behaving that badly (like some cats do) and they acted like they'd never handled a cat before...I have been very disappointed in my experiences with this vet and as a cat owner, I would not recommend them.

Originally chose another vet but we weren’t happy and called CPAH and they got us right in. They were attentive to our concerns and very warming. I called the next day because our cat still wasn’t feeling well and Emily was amazing about hearing our concerns about financials. Got another appointment and the whole staff from the vet, Abby and Emily were amazing in talking through the process and trying to work with us so that our furbaby was gonna the best care they could help provide. Hands down will continue with them and recommend them to pwiple.

My cat, George, had been experiencing some stomach issues so I called and they were able to get me in asap. Emily, the woman at the front desk and who I spoke with on the phone, was incredibly sweet and kind and I felt like she genuinely cared about the well-being of my cat. She was also very helpful when I called later for clarifications about my cat’s prescription details, and insisted I call back if I have any more questions. Josh, who was helping Dr Tripp today, not only handled my cat patiently and gently, but also helped to calm my nerves as a pet parent. He was very kind and I truly appreciate his calmness. Dr Tripp was amazing. She walked me through everything she was looking for and all the observations she made and what that means for my little kitty. She helped me feel calmer as I was visibly stressed and she even cracked a couple of jokes to diffuse the tension I was feeling. I really appreciate the patience she had with me and my cat who was less-than-thrilled to be there. I have been to CPAH before for routine check-ups, but this is the first time I’ve felt like the staff truly cared about my cat’s health, as opposed to a name on a list they have to get through. Not that visits with other vets were bad, but I will be requesting Dr Tripp for as long as she works there. She takes good care of her animal patients, and their human parents. Yes, is it a little pricy, but I think it’s worth it for the detailed care the staff gives to our furry friends.

I took my puppy in for his first visit today, and i’m not sure where to start with praising this vet ! The staff was amazing, from reception, to nurses, to the Dr. Herself! Dr.Tripp was by far the BEST veterinarian i’ve ever had the pleasure of taking a pet to. She was professional, kind, a great listener, and walked me through everything! She listened to all my concerns and my pup was very comfortable with her. She did a wonderful job. Dr.Tripp along with the rest of the staff were extremely accommodating. I am so happy and will be returning for any and all of my veterinarian needs. The facility was clean, and support staff were wonderful as well. the location is extremely convenient for me, and the price was very fair in my opinion for the level of care that my pup received ! I would 1000% recommend Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a local vet. I can’t wait to return, and I know my puppy can’t wait either ! Thank you again Dr.Tripp and the rest of the amazing staff ! You guys rock!

We just got Lola home from her visit with Dr Alan Langill. He was simply great with her, and I appreciated how concerned he seemed to be treating her. We have used Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital for over 25 years and have generally been satisfied with the care given to our pets. Prior to Dr Langill, we have had some concerns over the billing. This was the first time in many years we came from with a bill under $150, and usually more. We appreciate you keeping our visit more affordable. Great work, Doc. we look forward to bringing the furry family back for their veterinary care.
