(from Google)Heritage Park Pond – California A maintained pond inside a local park, offering calm water views. The surroundings are clean and accessible, making it a pleasant place for short visits.
Heritage park was great and the only thing is if you have kids always check the restrooms just to be safe. They have a kids area and tennis courts look like a good park for the day.
I went there to check out the new disc golf course. Unfortunately it is still under construction. The baskets are in but no t pads or signs. 9 holes I think. It will be a great addition to the park and the Eastside.
This park has improved a lot in the past two years. I walk my dog here on occasion & the grass is well kept, lots of concrete paths to walk on, and a few hills to watch the cute squirrels play on. They recently finished creating a soccer field and teams will play, creating some nice ambience. The only downside is the homeless that tend to hang around in the area. There’s a mini parking lot in the center of the park & sometimes I’ll see them looking in cars and digging through trash, so I’d advise against parking there if you don’t want unwanted attention.
Passing thru from Florida and needed a park to let our son out of the truck. Great park for older and younger kids. Skate park and playground area. Lots of space, benches, and grills throughout the property. Restrooms on site. And plenty of parking. Watch out for the holes in the ground from the voles..
