Concho Riverwalk

One of the nicer riverwalk and trails of all the downtown Texas Hill Country town we recently visited. The kids playground is impressive.

This is one of my favorite places here in San Angelo. I have lived here my whole life and this place never gets old.

Wonderful spot just to chill for the day lots of things for kids to do & fish along the way

Have walked this several times over the last 6 years alone and with company and at various times of day, to include after dark. Very relaxing.

It’s really good for a morning, afternoon, or evening walk and it’s not overly commercialized like many city’s river walks. There’s only a couple of restaurants or bars located on the main stretch. Instead, it connects you to a couple of park areas with picnic tables, nice walkways, and even some outdoor art exhibits. Christmas time is really awesome, the city sets up a lot of light displays along the banks of the river. You can drive along the street and check it out, or you can walk along the sidewalks to view it at your own pace. I recommend walking it instead of driving it. The drive times can really back up and take a while to get through.
