We loved visiting Grandview overlook. It is such a nice spot tucked in Palmer park. The sunset up there was really nice

Grandview Overlook is tucked inside Palmer Park. I shot an editorial bridal session here, and the golden-hour views were absolutely stunning, perfect for couples wanting sunset photos without the tourist rush. Unlike Garden of the Gods, this spot isn’t swarmed with crowds. Instead, it’s a favorite among locals looking to relax, with paved paths, benches, and plenty of breathing room. The overlook gives you sweeping views of Colorado Springs. Simple, scenic, and underrated.

Colorado Springs' parks just give and give. This was like walking on another planet so beware of gaping mouth. Was so lovely on a Christmas Eve hike.

A 180 degree view of the city with great views of the front range and Garden of the Gods. Popular for sunset viewing however it was surprisingly not crowded at all. It seems to also be a popular photography location as well for special events. Parking is limited though to about 8-10 cars. I did the sentinel point trail via Cheyenne trail loop and the GVT from this trailhead. An easy 3 mile hike with almost no elevation change.

Beautiful spot to see the city. It’s so peaceful here! Daytime you can see all of the city. I really enjoy coming at night because there is less people. It’s a perfect spot built in a park in some rocks. Pretty dope. There is younger kids up there on the weekend but usually keep to themselves and don’t start drama. Definitely recommend coming to check out this little hidden gem.
