(from Google)The drive through was peaceful, the displays were nice. We actually found the highlight to be the petting zoo at the end in the carnival.
Beautiful park with great views of the water and the DCA airport. Plenty of parking especially at the northern end (separate entrance point) near the Aquatics & Fitness Center. We went there on Sunday and parking is free. On weekday and Saturday, you'd need to pay via a self-ticketing machine which are located at both ends of the park. There is a long concrete walking path on the upper deck with great view of the airport. You can see airplanes taking off toward you once every few minutes. There also very clean public toilets at both end of the park. There is also a walking/biking trail you can safely take to go the nearby marina. Beautiful view of the marina from the trail.
There's a nice walking trail with beautiful landscaping. It's very close to Regan National Airport, so you'll hear airplanes, but it's a great location to get some excersize before boarding flights. It even has some workout equipment along the trail.
Long Bridge Park is a gem! The grounds are beautifully maintained with wide open green spaces, modern playgrounds, and plenty of walking trails. The views of the city are fantastic, and it’s a perfect spot for both relaxation and exercise. I love how clean, safe, and family-friendly it feels—whether you’re coming for a stroll, a picnic, or to watch planes overhead. Truly one of the best parks around!
Long Bridge Park is a nice spot, especially in the spring when the Okame cherry trees are in full bloom. The park offers a peaceful escape with well-maintained walkways, open space, and good views. It’s also a great place to watch planes, trains, and the sunset.
