This place is amazing to take your pets. I literally adore Dr. Stein. She has such compassion for your pets and treats them like she loves them and genuinely wants them to be happy and well. She even hurts right along with us when we are in pain as our fur children pass. I've never known another vet to show emotion like her when we have difficult times. Any pet I own will have to see her. We found our forever Veterinary home. Thank you all for all that you do!

A NOTE TO EVERY PET OWNER: I brought Ziggy here on December 1st for a random let’s see what’s up visit and get some vaccines (that I rarely get). She was perfectly fine, and there were zero medical concerns. I only decided last minute to have a fatty lump on her chest tested for peace of mind, knowing it was soft and likely benign (which it was). She was healthy, happy, and "doing well at home" per their own records. Her health took a drastic, unexplained turn the moment she left this clinic. The owners response is a LIE : It’s a blatant attempt to rewrite history. I now have my complete records from Westbury Specialists, and they prove you are lying. You claim you discussed a mass "as symptoms progressed", your own notes prove a mass was never suggested until Jan 22nd, after weeks of you charging me for three identical, useless X-rays while my dog was dying. I was clear about being cost-effective, as the experts, you should have known that if a front-view scan is inconclusive, a side-view is mandatory on the second or third scan. You repeatedly billed me for the same "blind" angle while her lungs failed. Furthermore, the ultrasound you performed on the 22nd was a total copycat of the basic triage scan the ER (VEG) had already done on the 15th. You did a "diagnostic" ultrasound that provided zero new answers. The best part is you telling me you can’t help me further all while your specialty tech, the only person who could have done proper imaging was in the building and ignored. On Jan 16th, you told me you couldn't see anything because "she had just eaten," yet you failed to document this "food" issue in your notes. It took the Westbury specialist to record the food in her stomach which is the very excuse you used to avoid a real diagnosis. You gave her Prednisone to mask the symptoms and sent us home for another week of suffering. My emails from Jan 5, 9, 15, and 19 prove I was reporting her decline in real-time. I wasn’t expecting a miracle. I internally knew she was dying but I just wanted her to die peacefully. Instead, she died in distress because you prioritized basic billing over specialized care. You ignored my email about her death and only "care" now because of this review. You robbed her of a dignified end. Quality Veterinary Care: Treated her for "possible pneumonia" and didn’t look past the food in her stomach to find the actual cause of her collapse. They wasted 6 days while she suffocated. Westbury Specialist: Confirmed it was a Hilar Thoracic Mass (Cancer) which had caused severe Lung Disease. They saw exactly what was there and identified the cancer immediately, despite the food in her system. Below are photos of my baby girl Ziggy scared shitless and stuffing to breathe before I had to make the decision to put her down so she can finally be at peace.

Dr.Wang was absolutely incredible and you can tell this profession was made for her. Came in with my geriatric chihuahua of 14 years who was in respiratory distress d/t heart failure. They rushed to take him inside Immediately and stabilized him so we could discuss a plan. Dr.Wang was extremely thorough in explaining everything while also being very compassionate. We discussed outcomes and quality of life and ended up confirming Euthanasia was the best option for my little guy which is something me and my family felt was right. Dr.Wang discussed treatment options as well but I couldn’t see him suffer like this. While we waited for my dad to come to say his last goodbye, unfortunately my little guy started going on his own and they rushed me to the back to hold him one last time. Dr. Wang did administer some medication to ease his last few breaths and he passed soon after. The entire staff was extremely sympathetic and I’ve never felt more cared for with my doggy before. Dr.Wang and the staff made this difficult and heartbreaking experience almost bearable. Can’t recommend this vet enough 🤍
