(from Google)There are so many trails to choose from. Whatever distance you want just look at the map at the beginning of each trail. Fantastic bridges and wild life to see. So much fun!!
The trail where it crosses Old Kings Road is terrible. Whoever the city employs to repair these roads leaves much to be desired. Instead of just resurfacing the areas that are in need of repair, they just “spot repair”. The holes need to be filled & feathered so you can actually ride, walk or skate over said area without you might take a spill, especially on busy days. This subpar practice makes the areas look worse. It’s not up to local standards IMO. The actual landscape maintenance is better but the trees & shrubs need to be cut back/down. 3 stars for the road/pavement issues. My above rating is for the overall trail.
Review for Leigh trail boardwalk section of “One size fits all” near Colbert Lane entrance. Good for bikes and e-bikes if not leaf covered or wet. Most riders ignore safety warning. Two stars for walkers because not expecting e-bikes so fast from behind. One star for dog walkers. It is not wide enough to not startle dogs and mine barks loud enough to startle riders (who should be walking over boardwalk) into wobbling into us or railings. Someone will get hurt in this boardwalk section near Colbert Lane.
Very WIDE, well maintained bike/walking trail. Well defined trail head with facilities and reasonable parking. Approximately, 6.5 miles with 3 road crossings. 2 out of 3 are street lights equipped. Tire pumps have been spotted in 2 locations. Great. One drawback, in our opinion: the trail has LOW utility connecting nowhere to nothing. Well, you can't have everything. :)
Nice flat and paved trail that is a little more than 3 miles in length. The city is constructing a pedestrian bridge that will link Bula Plantation park with Lehigh trail.
