(from Google)My partner and I love this place so much. Its a little nature oasis in the middle of the bustling city. We take our dog here a few times a week to walk the trails, and we get to enjoy some wildlife at the same time. We've seen deer, coyotes, innumerable birds, and they even have a bald eagle family on site! Their new exploration area behind the nature center is so fun, as well. The kids love climbing on all the new features and exploring, it was so well done. Definitely worth checking out!
Very nice trail and park. It was quiet and very clean. Parking is a bit tight but this is a really nice place to get away.
Born and raised in Aurora and had no idea this place existed. Great afternoon walk. Only a few other people on the trail and was beautiful as the sunset.
This is a beautiful place to escape for a few hours from the hustle bustle and nonsense of the city without having to drive for hours to get there. It’s very natural with the only improvements being some trails and some picnic tables. A very calm and serene place where us city dwellers can relax and be with nature. The ducks are the icing on the cake.
A great half-mile wetland trail that is easily accessible for all ages. My 4 and 1.5 year old love the wildlife and tress to climb on. Having the Morrison Nature Center with their friendly, knowledgeable staff right there is a huge plus. It also connects to the Sand Creek and Highland Canal trails for longer adventures.
