Meramec Greenway: Krumm Road Trailhead

Cool place to walk our chunky little doggy.

Grateful for trails like this on warm summer days. The paved 2 mile trail is mostly shaded with benches along the way to stop and cool down. There's also an earthen trail that wanders through the woods. No trash cans on trail, so carry in, carry out. Port-a-potty at both trail heads/ parking lots. Easy access from Hwy 55 on Meramac bottom. There's also a QT on the opposite side of the highway if you need a quick snack after.

This spot seems to be relatively new. As of now it's well maintained. Unfortunately, it's pretty close to i-55, which means it's pretty lousy in sound. The parking lot is rather small. There is a porta potty that is handicap accessible at the entrance.

I frequent this trail weekly. The dog and I have found many paths . Because the park service is actively mowing trails and many times removing felled trees from the path. Thanks guys keep up the good work. Kudos to the moore guy and great job. So on another note. If you’re going to visit. Make sure you bring the bug spray. The mosquitoes are in force with a vengeance…

Beautiful, mostly flat, wide path for walking and riding with glimpses of the Meramec River.
