(from Google)Starting from the main parking lot is the quickest way to get to the waterfall (learned that the hard way). Different trails of varying difficulties, beautiful lake view
It's beautiful but needs work. Lots of broken glass and trash. Pet owners leaving poop bags alongside the trail. The trail looks like it's been washed out and not maintained for a very long time. The pavilion is nice but no picnic tables, so it's bring your own tables + chairs, I guess. I didn't get down to the dam, because the trail is really steep with loose rock. It might be worth the hike down but definitely "at your own risk". 🫤
Absolutely a great outdoor adventure hike. It is well worth the hike to the waterfall.
•Easy Access •Free Parking •Beautiful Scenic Views •Hiking trails from easy to difficult(best to wear hiking/workout shoes) •Bird watching •Butterfly catching •Fishing •Dog Friendly •Family friendly •Port-a-potties Trails are clean Best time to visit is April-early June. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves on this nature walk 😊
A lovely pre-WW2 national civic works project that overlooks the lake, yet has well-built trails that go all the way down to the lake for a decent fishing adventure.
