I took my puppy to this salon today. He is a 60 pound puppy but still a puppy lol. He can be a lot sometimes but Abby and the staff here took wonderful care of him. Even with all the wiggles and running circles, they had so much patience for him. He came out tail wagging and smelling fresh. We will be back!

If you’re looking for the best groomer in Murfreesboro, I highly recommend Paws and Effect! From the moment you walk in, the salon is clean, welcoming, and full of people who genuinely love animals. The groomers take their time with each pet and treat them like family. My dog came home looking amazing, smelling great, and most importantly seemed relaxed and happy after the visit. You can really tell they care about the comfort and safety of every pet they work with. Their attention to detail and personalized care is what makes them stand out. It’s hard to find a groomer you completely trust, but this team truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting their fur baby to look and feel their best!

I took my pittie in for a nail trim, buff & teeth brush. She’s a big baby and was scared her first time there, they were so good with her. Sweet employees, great prices. She loves her bails. I will def be back as a regular for these services and explore some other for my girl!

*UPDATED (Dec 16, 2025) Lil Shitzu went to another groomer today to get groomed after this place claimed they couldn't but didn't want to do it. Proves my point. Pic below. Had an apt today to get a rescued shihtzu groomed so he get go into his foster home today. I rushed here to get to the apt. Show the girl my rabies information. She picked up the dog and claimed she "wasn't" able to groom the poor dog. She gave me a BS lie crap excuse on why she didn't wasn't able to. But in all honesty she just didn't "want" to do the job. Hell I would have given her a good tip if she helped get the dog groomed. But unfortunately she just too lazy to groom a dog in need. I honestly thought this would be a good place due to the higher reviews. But unfortunately I guess I was wrong. I scrambled to try and locate another groomer for this poor dog all. Called everyone I could find from Murfreesboro to Nashville. But no available groomer. So now I had to make a hard decision to go ahead and allow the foster to take the poor dog or wait 2 weeks until I was able to get back. Not sure the "groomers" name but she was twice my size larger lady. If she didn't want to do the dog then just tell me. Don't give me a bs lie of a story on why you couldnt do it .
