(from Google)Amazing food, and delicious cocktails! Hands down the best oysters 🦪 , cozy vibes.
Very good restaurant serving American fare. The salads are a nice size and seasoned well. The lunch portions are large and very good. The tuna bowl served over rice was very refreshing.
Well there’s isn’t much I can say bad about this place! The vibe was great! Music was nice! Sender our server was very attentive, and a great help with navigating the menu for us. Right off the highway makes it even better! We got the calamari (cooked perfectly! Every. Piece.) For our entrees we had the fish special. Chilean sea bass. *chefs kiss baby! A side of the potato gratin 🤤 And the roasted Brussels whaaaaaaat! (The only suggestion I can make about that dish is that prosciutto should not be cooked. Either swap it out for a pancetta or even better just drape some shaved pieces over the dish. Yummm.) For dessert because we had to literally force it. We had the cinnamon sugar donuts. Just get them. Even if you’re full. All in all the entire dinner was delicious! Definitely will be stopping again when we are traveling through!
This is a classic New American style restaurant in the Fairfield- Southport area. Large dining area including a bar. Service is fast and efficient albeit not professional. The atmosphere is classy countryside with fireplace. Food is a bit of a hit and miss, with excellent appetizers and drinks but poor main dishes like the salmon with poached eggs I ordered for brunch. The eggs were hard boiled and the smoked salmon texture felt mushy like previously frozen.
Great spot. Stopped for lunch. Good Bloody Mary. Generous wine pour. Brussels were very good. Very thin bacon and an interesting and tasty yogurt. Sesame crusted Tuna tacos were very good. The wasabi dressing is spicy so be aware. Goat cheese salad with Salmon was good as well. Salmon was cooked perfectly to medium rare. Place has lots of covered outdoor seating which was great. Recommend. Wish we lived closer to try again.
