Went to Burlington Beer Works yesterday with a group of friends. They sat us outside in the 93 degree heat, but that was fine. The group consisted of approximately 12 people. Everyone ordered burgers and fries except for me and my fiance'. We decided on the "NC Sausage Sampler Plate" from the "Shareables" section. The description said "NC Sausages, homemade kraut, homemade pickles, and stone-ground mustard". That sounded great, so we ordered 2. The food took around 45 minutes to come out, which isn't surprising being that there were 12 of us. The burger and fries plates were the first to come out and they looked very good! Then me and my fiance's plates came out and we were in SHOCK! This was literally the least amount of food that I have ever been served at a restaurant. It was a 2"x2" square bowl of kraut (the kraut WAS very tasty), half full (like 2 teaspoons)... 4 pickles that tasted like cucumbers dipped in vinegar, half a teaspoon of stone ground mustard that tasted NOTHING like mustard at all, and a SINGLE 5 inch sausage cut in half. I like the fact of it being a co-op, but this was terrible! With it being a "Sampler" plate, and under the "Shareables" listing, what was there to share??? There's NO FOOD there to share! I immediately snapped photos because of this ludicrous excuse of a plate of food. It became the joke of the day between everyone at our table. With paying for this "experience" and paying the tip, it comes out to being around $20 a plate. There couldn't be more than $4 worth of food on the entire plate. The service was mediocre (unless you were drinking beer). I'm giving this place 2 stars because everyone else's food looked great, but for this dish, you lost a customer... Sorry! ***Edit*** Again, the seating, service, and burger plates were fine. We WERE a walk-in group, and it was expected to take a little extra time. Yet, I'll still have to double-down on what a disappointment our dish was. That was neither a "sampler" or "shareable" plate. This plate is one that you should consider removing from the menu

We recently hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner upstairs at Burlington Beer Works, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I coordinated everything through their General Manager, Britney, and cannot say enough positive things about her helpfulness, professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail throughout the planning process. She made everything feel seamless and stress-free. The upstairs space was perfect for our event, and our guests had a great time. We’re so grateful to the team at Burlington Beer Works for helping make such an important weekend feel so special, and would absolutely recommend them for any private event or celebration!

Not sure why this place is currently 4.3 stars. It has a good selection and variety of house brewed beers and the food was good. The place is clean and modern with indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Burlington area. This is the only brewery open for lunch which was great!

I went here for a date night and it was amazing!! I got the Glencoe burger and it was delicious, my fav part was the bacon jam. the drinks were so good too! Our server, Virginia, was so great and she answered all of our questions about the menu.

Stopped in for Sunday brunch. Glencoe burger + Cesar salad. And BLT with fries. Couple of beers to go with the food. Consistent service and good food. We come by often - the Korean chicken sandwich is the best!
