(from Google)Dr. Stine is very compassionate and kind. My cat Snowy had glaucoma and was blind in her eye. After she didn’t respond well to the glaucoma drops we decided to remove her eye this past Thursday. I was worried because she is almost 14 years old and has kidney issues but Dr. Stine was amazing. She contacted me before and after the surgery to tell me how my little girl was doing. Snowy is home recovering and doing really well. I thought the recovery would be harder on her but she is so happy and purring away. I can tell she is no longer in pain from the glaucoma. I highly recommend Eye Care for Animals and Dr. Stine. She is one of the most compassionate vets I have ever met. She treated Snowy like she was her little girl. ❤️
My chihuahua eye popped out Christmas Day and had emergency eye surgery I took him to Eye Care for Animals for his follow up. I was so impressed by the professionalism and kindness showed by Dr Jessica Stine and her staff. I would highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for Animal Eye Veterinary care.
I wanted to give this place 5 stars but something is seriously wrong with their phone system, I called countless times to schedule an appointment with no answer and no returned call. I was pretty pissed tbh, its not like their are many Vet Optometrist to choose from. I finally filled out a contact form on their website and got a call!!!! I was very shocked and disappointed when I arrived at the office to find out that they were under construction and were meeting you at your vehicle to take your pet inside from there while you waited in your vehicle. I was pissed! I almost left, but my pup needed to be seen. I explained to the lady on the phone my pup might not go in without me and she allowed me to pass him off just inside the front door. What i witnessed was the tech leading my scared pup and praising him for each brave step he took closer to the exam room. I was immediately relieved. The Dr came outside and met me after they examined my boy and explained to me her findings and the treatment plan. She was very thorough and answered all of my questions without rushing back inside. She was very compassionate, as I was very upset about the state of my pups eyes. I left feeling confident in my decision to allow them to care for my dog and we will be back for follow up testing and treatment! PLEASE FIX YOUR PHONES P.S. They are under construction bc they are expanding, just wish I knew that beforehand.
Brought my dog in yesterday for a follow up after our ER visit. My dog is handicapped and cannot walk on his own. Amanda was extremely compassionate and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our visit run smoothly. Dr. Stine was extremely thorough with her exam and explained my dogs circumstance and treatment plan to me very clearly. I would recommend highly
I respect that they were able to get me in the same day to see the vet about my dog’s eyes. At a high cost. My primary vet had already prescribed drops, checked the pressure, and confirmed that my dog was blind in one eye even spoke to the doc in the phone. We were rushed here to get the proper mix of medications to try to save her other eye. Unfortunately, things went downhill quickly. I was crying, overwhelmed, and struggling to understand what the doctor was saying when they started explaining surgery to remove her eye. They did go over other options, but all still required medications. They said removal was the best option. While I was breaking down, I felt like they had zero sympathy. They eventually gave me a few minutes to think, but the tech who came in was extremely rude when I told her I needed to wait to hear back from my vet tech before making the final decision. She snapped back that I had to wait for my vet tech. I explained that yes, I always run everything through her, but the way it was said felt dismissive and uncaring. She also got upset and made me feel a bit stupid when I requested detailed info on which eye drop goes first. She said it will all be written down. I understand that but I wanted to make sure I rolled all instructions. Then they told me surgery could be scheduled for next week, but later offered a sooner date. I chose sooner, but then they added in bloodwork. Also was prescribed medication for her skin something my vet tech later confirmed wasn’t even necessary. To make things worse, I later found out this clinic is owned by a certain company and honestly, it feels like all they care about is money and could care less about the most important things compassion, patience, and understanding in a very emotional time. The even got rude with my primary doctor and the lady got rude with me over the phone when I called to cancel because my vet was able to do the procedure half the cost and other things my dog needed. This place needs to think about how they treat the owners and speak to them because not one of them has a sense of compassion.
