Valverde Park

It's a good place to have picnics and play with the family dog!!!!

I enjoy the quietness of this park. I seen a huge real turtle on the top of the levee on the grass area.

It's a chill park. It's not hella ghetto and has lots of room for activities like soccer and baseball. The jungle gym isn't burnt up, partially sealed off, or has any homeless hanging around. I wish it had more parking but it's not too bad.

I like this park alot. It's usually pretty quiet so my little ones have the run of the playground. There is a walk way around the park that brings you near a little river by the baseball park. ⚾️ There is a decent bathroom that is open to the public. The park has a basketball court🏀 and a squash court. There are also table tops with chess boards built on(although some have broken tiles). The playground has no swings but does sport those spinners that children can sit on and one that can be stood on. The layout of the playground is also really fun for the kids as it supports imaginative play. They can make music or be fighter pilots or ship captains. The playground has a few slides as well as climbing obstacles for gross motor development. The playground area is heavily shaded so its perfect for the summer time. The playground has many benches and open areas for picnicking or play🥏⚽️

Nice park, kids playground for older children, prob not ideal for 5 and younger. Good for walking, evenings are less desirable, sometimes you'll see odd types, occasionally someone high and homeless sleep there often. But late morning-mid day and great times to go.
