(from Google)Nice place for a quick escape from suburbia. If your quiet enough you might encounter a deer on the trail.
It's okay. It is has a nice place to play for the children, but the tennis court is in disarray. The children still get out there and play, but it has become a forgotten court. Very sad, maybe they have it on the to do list.
It was great to walk through, there is a lot of trees and paths to walk through, you can see birds and animals crawling along and there is usually 2 to 3 people there with you. I like the views I get while walking through.
Shag bark Park has new equipment Grandkids age 6 and 9 loved it. Had a blue tilt a globe you can spin in and other world looking climbing structure, also spinning chair. Fun for 6 and up. Also baby swings and small slide. Geared for more daring child.
Tennis courts are cool but are starting to crack and buckle. They replaced the playground and it's not as big, I used to be able to play a great game of tag with the kids on the bigger one :(
