Mamá Por Dios - Rancho Cucamonga

I had the absolute worst experience EVER at the Mama Por Dios in Rancho Cucamonga. We had a reservation for 845 and did not get seated until almost 11 PM. The menu was limited most Items on the menu were not available, My ribeye came out cold and I was provided nothing but a fork for utensils not even a knife. I requested a knife and never received it.. There was no music playing in the background just the noise of everyone around and their conversations. The restrooms were the absolute worst thing I had ever experienced in my life. I’d compare it to the public restrooms at a campsite. Thanks for the worst Valentines Day diner Experience ever, what a waste of 283 dollars.

Shoutout to our waiter, Juanito. He absolutely made the night! Super fun, amazing energy, hilarious without being over the top, and on point with everything. We’ll definitely be back and hope to get him again!

Great experience. My second time coming after my grandmas funeral. The server was very attentive and the drinks were cute and delicious and were kindly walked to a candle lit dinner with rose pedals. Download the app! Just came in for my third time. Mario was so attentive and great. Again the manager gave my sister and I a festive comfortable space to celebrate

Ok, so my wife wanted to come here for her bday. Let's talk about it. The food was mid. I had the mole, it was watery and lacked flavor. My wife had the seabass and it was fishy. This is a premium dish anywhere else. It was not the best here. The good? Lobster mac was good and the drinks where on point. The service was slow and but the food came out fast if you order everything in one shot. The celebrations are fun here but that's about it. Would I do it again, no.

I was really excited to visit Mama Por Dios after hearing so many great things, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. We ordered the octopus, lamb shops, and salmon, and all three dishes were overcooked and chewy. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she explained that the restaurant policy is not to undercook their meat — but the texture and quality definitely suffered because of it. On a positive note, the tequila drink I ordered was AMAZING, and another cocktail served in a birdcage was presented very sophisticated. The drinks were definitely the highlight of the night. I truly wish the food had matched the presentation and ambiance.
