Love this place! Our dogs don’t get boarded very often but they did so good here! One of them had an allergy flare up while she was there and they let me know about it but not causing me to worry. They used several methods to keep her from scratching so much. They also send pics of the dogs each day. Highly recommend!

I came here after having a negative experience at another local boarding facility. After doing a lot of research, I felt this would be the best fit for my dog. When I inquired about boarding, they asked detailed questions to make sure my dog would be a good fit. They scheduled a daycare trial day before approving her stay. I was a little hesitant since my dog is a rescue from an abusive home, but the staff made me feel completely at ease. On our first visit, they recognized her right away from the photo I uploaded. They reassured me she would be well taken care of and said they would call if there were any issues. After her daycare day, I received a report card with her evaluation and was so happy to hear she was accepted. At first, I was unsure about the trial process, but I truly appreciate that they make sure every dog is a good match before committing. They sent me several pictures throughout the day, and when I picked her up, she was happy and in such a great mood, which is not something I’ve experienced at other places. I initially planned to board her here for just one trip, but after seeing how caring and attentive the staff are and how happy my dog was, I’ll be boarding her here exclusively going forward and scheduling daycare as well. Thank you to the entire team for making me feel confident that she’s in great hands.

This place is literally my dog’s favorite place on earth. The staff and management are honestly incredible and I can tell how much they LOVE my dog as their own. I had never put my dog (who is literally my BABY) into daycare before, so I was extremely nervous and paranoid. No matter how many times I called to get an update or check in, or repeat the same instructions over and over because I’m a helicopter dog mom, they never sounded annoyed over the phone. They were always extremely reassuring and so sweet. They take such good care of my baby. They also post soo many pictures everyday on the Facebook page so you can literally see your fur baby having the time of their life. This was my first experience with doggy daycare and I seriously could not have gotten more lucky with this place. I would personally recommend this place to any other obsessive, helicopter dog mom’s (or dad’s) lol. Btw they have such a cute outdoor play space with little kiddie pools and sprinklers for the dogs to play in. So cute

This is the best place in Austin for doggy day care and boarding. The people are super caring, loving, and enthusiastic, and it shows in all interactions.My dog goes to day care as often as possible. Sometimes I've boarded her, which usually causes her to be reluctant the next time we go for day care. Not at Pups and Pals! She is so excited every morning! The daily schedule allows for group play and indoor rest. The staff evaluates the dogs' personalities, size, and energy levels before putting them in a group. Playtime includes best friends, lots of cuddles and kisses, pools in the summer, and always playscapes. They go out anywhere between 6-8 times a day, with breaks in their air conditioned suites. The building is super nice, very new, and the play areas have K9 grass that keeps their paws nice and clean. I especially like that it is hosed every night. BTW there's a groomer onsite! Just a heads up -- it's hard to see the marquis from the 1st street entrance. You really need to know what you're looking for! April and I give Pups and Paws 4 paws up!

Pups and Pals is the best facility. Management does a great job hiring the best staff - they all care so much about the dogs. The dogs are separated into groups by size and temperament. Groups are rotated in and out of the outdoor play yards to ensure they get adequate playtime and rest. My dog really came out of her shell here. She found a best friend and definitely had her favorite staff members. We are so sad to have moved out of the area because Pups and Pals is such a great place! Thank you, South Park team, for taking care of my girl!
