(from Google)Cute lil 2mi trail, mostly in sun but the shady parts do be hitting.
Very clean, good for a walk with kids and dogs!!!
The creek is cool, but a little creepy. Great to have your dog run around.
Very popular Preserve featuring an easy paved trail - the Rock Run Greenway Trail - and two small crushed limestone offshoot trails - the Prarie Trail and the Spruce Meadow Trail. I saw multiple deer and rabbits on the Spruce Meadow Trail, and I recommend branching off from the main trail to walk it.
Such a great place to enjoy the beauty of nature!! Fishing, walking and any outdoor forest adventure the mind can think of right of the beaten path of busy Shorewood/Joliet.........The deer are gorgeous to view and my family will be going at least once a week to enjoy the pristine landscape and we thank the park district and local government for doing such a great job keeping the property safe and clean!!! Just take a turn down the street, park and enjoy simple life for a moment or two!!
