(from Google)Played tennis on the courts. No cracks, but surface is plain asphalt, no green or blue paint left. It plays well enough to have fun. One court needed to be swept, because a pine tree drops lots of needles. I brought my own broom. There is a tennis wall in one of the courts which is nice for practicing when you are by yourself. Plenty of parking on the two late fall days I have visited. There is a walking/biking path nearby and some basketball courts. Pretty place away from busy roads.
Nice little park by the trail. Only one bench and a basketball field. Limited parking space. We start our group runs from there and it's great but parking is an issue for our large group.
I think it is a hidden gem in southern Montgomery county. As the part of the National Recreational Trail, it may serve as a good starting point for your walk, run, biking or resting.
wonderful walking trail with lots of side trails to explore!
Basketball, tennis, play areas. This is my local park in the rock creek system. The parking is fine. They just finished a large water shed wetlands project that took out the old soccer field. It will be interesting to see how the new plants mature and attract birds.
