(from Google)Absolutely terrible! I would NEVER recommend Bevs after my experience last night. After being referred to Bevs from another emergency vet, I drove an hour and 40 minutes, to only be put in a room for 6 and a half hours and was never seen by a doctor for my very sick dog. I had to repeatedly go out to check to see if anyone was coming to see us and if they forgot about us and everytime I was told “it should only be an hour.” “It should only be 30 more minutes.” 6 and a half hours later I walked out with my dog who we spent the night in a cold room & we went to VEG ER. VEG was amazing, they took us right in & we’re so kind, professional & compassionate. They told me the hard news that could have been told to me 6 hours before. BEVS- DO BETTER. ZERO STARS & I have many other choice words! If you are on the fence to bring your beloved animal here, I would look elsewhere. VEG will be where I go if I ever need an ER vet again. BEVS I would NEVER step foot in again. My pet deserved better.
BEVS is phenomenal. From the moment our Labrador Autumn arrived she was brought in on a stretcher and given the utmost care. The entire staff was extremely concerned, thoughtful and caring. We’d especially like to thank Dr. Weiner, the first Doctor to see her at intake and immediately begin care. Dr. Sullivan who continued to implement a recovery plan that worked out perfectly and Morgan Kirk whose videos and photos of Autumn brought smiles to our faces during an extremely scary time. The bacterial infection she contracted was extremely rare and dangerous. We thought there was a chance she wouldn’t survive but thanks to BEVS she’s back home thriving and doing better than ever
On the evening of Saturday, 4/18 I had to bring my beloved Charlie (special needs cat) to BEVS. When I called ahead, I was prepped for a 2-4 hr wait. I was greeted with kindness and concern (I wish I gotten the name of the young woman). Within a minute, Charlie was taken right back for a preliminary check and I was moved into a room. Both Techs, before and after seeing the Doctor (again, I unfortunately did not get their names) were great. I feel lucky to have met with Dr. Starr who was very compassionate and even though the reason for my coming in turned out to be mostly a false alarm (although we did receive antibiotics), he took my concerns seriously even though they turned out to be minor. MANY THANKS to all, and especially to Dr. Starr.
My perfectly healthy dog started with rapid breathing on a Sat evening. We brought him to Bevs. We were met at the door and our Maxi was brought right back. They did a very intensive work up and explained everything step by step. Sadly, he could not be saved. They gave us all the time we needed to say good bye. They handled his passing with such kindness and grace. They took care of his cremation and even sent us a sympathy card. I will go back with any future pet I may have. They were amazing.
We have been to BEVS many times over the years for various issues with both of our cats. Eveveryone we have encountered has always been professional, caring and understanding. Most recently we had to have one of our cats euthanized after 15 wonderful years. Unfortunately we lost our other cat just 6 days later. BEVS was compassionate and understanding to our family. The only reason I am not writing a 5 star review is due to the cost. Its so unfortunate that Pet owners have to pay such large amounts for care of their animals.
