(from Google)Love taking my kids here! We always have a great time!! I can’t remember if this is the one that has life jackets available for use.. If anyone knows please let me know 😊
Great place! On weekends, arrive before 10 AM for a good spot or table, plus parking. They charge a $5 fee, no cash accepted. No pets allowed. I highly recommend it!
Nice sandy beach and swim area with a pleasant view. Lots of shade trees and picnic tables with restroom facilities close by. Parking is also close by and the sidewalks through that area make it easy to roll your cooler to your chosen area. Come early if you want less people/noise. It is a popular place in the summer. Boats do come by the area but the roped off swim area and dinghies keep them far enough away to not be a danger. No dogs allowed at this park which is a bit of a bummer but I’m sure the ducks appreciate it. I only took a few pictures of one quieter side area away from the playground. This park has a nice mix for everyone.
This is a beautiful place for a “beach-like” family experience if you live in the area since beaches are more than a 7hr drive, but this time we went it was covered in poop, every three steps there was poop which is crazy because there no pets allowed in the day use area. The fact that people don’t follow that rule is one thing but the fact that people don’t pick up after their own pets poop is insane. A lot of children go to this place and you 100% cannot just sit on the grass. There was poop even in the sand area. Everything else looked great the playground area the employees were around doing rounds my husband said the bathroom looked clean and stocked it’s just sad that people are not taking care of this nice area. After covering all the poop around in our area with sand just to try to not step on it, our family had fun.
Had a great time here with the family. $5 admission was well spent. Lots of picnic tables to eat at. An area to rinse off before leaving. Bathrooms. Wasn’t too crowded as we chose a weekday to go and early. The kids loved it. I liked that no pets were allowed it was one less thing to worry about. There is also a no alcohol rule here as well which was not a problem for me but could be for others. Still a great place to hang out and even make a friend or two as lots of families are around enjoying the vibes.
