(from Google)We went early on a Saturday morning at the end of July. The temperature wasn't too hot for a walk. It took us about 30 minutes to get from the trailhead to the quarry, including stops for drinks and pictures. Be aware of the edge- steep and rocky. There are "stairs" and rocks to navigate on the trail. Nothing too hard though. The views are great!
Great, easy hike. No difficult terrain and great views - as if! Plenty of benches to rest on if you need a break.
Pretty good hike with the family and our dog. Great views of South and West areas of St. George Green Valley area and the mountains in the distance. Several benches along the way to sit if you need a break. The rocks along the trail are big and fun to look at. The trail is an easy one if you have small kids or dogs. We did the hike in just over an hour round-trip.
Beautiful, pristine and secluded. My work trip wrapped up early so I was able to find this beautiful trail that was very secluded. This trail was easy to find, had convenient parking right next to the entrance and the trail was well maintained.
I loved hiking this trail for the most time it was flat and shaded in the evening. The trail is about 2.5 miles long and good for dogs. One thing I would recommend is to wear close toe shoes because there are a lot of rocks you can stub your toe on.
