(from Google)Really large dog park with shade but no water. Overall great park, better than the other one in Beaumont!
I love this park. I only have a med sized dog. But if you had a dog along with kids or someone else to play ball (tennis or basketball) with, this is a good stop. Lots of room for dogs to run and the playground equipment is nice for the kids.
The grass is cut, the fences are in good shape, there are some water puddles in areas that get heavy use. Lots of room, great shade trees, plenty of places to play and sit. This is a beautiful park. I wonder how many of these bmt has?
Seemed like a good place to bring your dog. City maintenance was decent and the place looked well kept. There are two sections, one for small dogs and one for large with obstacles on both. There was a long list of rules that all seemed to make sense. The only problem I seen was some people obviously didn't pick up there dogs waste after they used the restroom. This wasn't surprising, just gotta watch where to step. Overall a nice place
I like this park a lot! We take our dog almost every Sunday and have had good experiences every time. If it rains it can get a bit muddy but our dog loves the puddles! There's a big dog and a small dog side so they can play with friends their own size. The water fountain was just turned back on for the warmer months which is great. It's right next to the highway so can be loud down at one end and I recommend keeping dogs on leashes until inside the park gates so they don't risk running to the road.
