Waterfall Park

We are from out of state and stopped by when we had some extra time, and were looking for something to do. Found the location in a Google search, but it was a bit of a disappointment when the hiking trail from the parking lot to the "waterfall" was only 300 feet, and in early October, there wasn't much water running. If you're willing to climb down a steep embankment lined with erosion control boulders, you could probably get down to the water if you wanted to. The noise from the train tracks was quite loud. We didn't realize until days later looking at a map, that there is actually a four mile "Turkey Creek Streamway Trail". We didn't find any signage at the park to illustrate this. The best feature of the park was a bicycle repair station. We had never seen anything like it before. Has attached tools and a QR code that links you to how-to videos of common repairs.

No complaints, I think the proximity to water makes it cooler.

It was a beautiful park!! We enjoyed ourselves so much!

This is a small, not busy park with some beautiful waterfalls. There's also a playground and tons of parking. I recommend checking this out if you're near KC.

This is a nice park. It has a play area and a lot of parking spaces. There are running/walking trails that runs through the park. There is a nice scenic view of a small waterfall. There are no shelters or bathroom. Overall, it’s a nice park with a beautiful view.
