(from Google)How long are the roads going to be closed..it's been a few years now 🙄
Very nice waterfront park. Not congested like the other parks in the city. Bike path runs right through. A couple playgrounds for the kids, splash pad, pool, dog park. Way different from when I was a kid.
Nice place, just the municipality have to have more attention for the cleaning, people's need to help with trash. Second the swimming pool area's, PLEASE people's are taking dog's to walk in the area, plus is trash in many places.
Wonderful park to have a family fun day grilling out or bringing your own food. The park also has various events through out the spring and summer months (Puerto Rican Festival, Vegan Fest, Rick James Funk Fest, and more. The park is a host to many soccer and baseball games, as well as having a bike trail, dog park, places to fish, or benches to sit and relax.
This section of the huge LaSalle park focuses on those who need tables and a shelter over their heads in case it rains during their picnic. You can still lay out your blankets and relax, take a nap even.
