I was planning to buy a dog from this store and I actually found a puppy that I really loved. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We waited for more than 30 minutes for any employee to help us, but all the staff were sitting inside talking to each other even though there were still around 40 minutes left before closing time. No one came to assist us. Before we left, a girl came out from the back just to mop the floor while we were still there and there were still 30 minutes left before closing. I asked her about the puppy’s price, and she said their prices start from $2,500 and up. I asked specifically about that puppy, and she said she didn’t know. I honestly don’t understand — am I supposed to know the price, or should the employee know it? The whole experience was very upsetting because I truly loved that puppy and was excited to possibly bring him home. What made it even more uncomfortable was that as soon as we walked out and got into our car, the employees suddenly came out from inside. The behavior felt very strange and honestly came across as discriminatory or rude. Maybe it was because we looked different, I don’t know, but waiting for us to leave before coming out made the situation feel very uncomfortable and upsetting.

Really cool store. The people there are so nice. Abby was so sweet. We got to spend some time with a puppy there. Had a really pleasant experience with our own little booth to get to know the pup. Abby explained the cost and financing. Although we did not get our puppy here, we really appreciated how friendly everyone was how great each puppy were cared for and really appreciated Abby's advice and experience with dogs. The only con I have is that the puppies here are really overpriced and that's an understatement (5K!?). I mean you may be buying the supplies and warranty it comes with and having the Akc papers, shots done, and lineage of the parents look really cool and very appreciative, but by no means are these puppies high-quality show pups who will possibly win a championship... they are just regular puppies that were bred and they now need a home and their mark-ups are so high that pushing financing is how they get you on their plan. Other than that, I really liked the store. It was clean and well-kept and they're really professional and it seems like the people there loved the animals and what they do.

I got a Cane Corso from Petland McKinney January 1st and like the fact my new dog came with a large wire crate for her to grow into, enough teething rings for her to chew for a month, dog food that lasted her a month, several vitamins that are still lasting nearly two month now. Also got 50% off two Vet visits and best of all my dog comes with lifetime free training! Also, Petland gives a warranty to cover costs of genetic problems/sicknesses if they are ever to happen. That warranty covers any operations or vet visits for the genetic issues! I got "peace of mind" from that. I know the price of their dogs can cause "sticker shock" in most people but consider all you get! I like the LIFETIME OF FREE TRAINING. Worth every penny. Oh, and I opened their credit card and get to pay for my dog over a year's time with no interest!

We've had our new pup at home for one full week. So far so good. Did 1st vet visit within the 4 days (the exam portion is no-charge, not any meds, fecal testing, etc) and needed meds for a simple issue - that is common for new pups, especially when they're in with other pups and are subject to their own feces. Again, it's a common thing - no reason to sound the panic alarms. The point is - medication needed to be ordered and it appears as though I am going to have them reimbursed to me under the warranty program. **Definitely have the fecal test done to be sure there are pesky parasites, they may be carrying around. We also plan on taking advantage of the "free lifetime training" & have our 1st lesson in a week. Each or 30 minutes and you are entitled to one a week at no charge. I'll be honest, originally when I reached out to the trainer, I was advised that he didn't have a whole lot of availability, which meant I was going to call the store back immediately and say you can't offer something as part of the program and then not have availability… But he did have availability and as of right now nothing seems to be a problem. So in other words, even with some potentially minor issues, everything has seemed to be working out this far. And I have no complaints. We went in on February 14 and worked with Kaitlyn and then we went in and picked up our pup on the 15th and worked with Abby. Both were very good at what they do.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Bella, the pet counselor at Petland McKinney, and I can't recommend her highly enough. She was incredibly thorough in explaining everything we needed to know about our new Jack Russell. Bella took the time to detail the perks and warranty associated with our purchase, ensuring we felt confident and informed about our decision. Her knowledge and friendly approach made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. It's evident that she genuinely cares about the pets and their well-being. Thank you, Bella, for making our new addition to the family even more special!
