Tharp and Canine

I adopted MJ in March. He weighed 92 lbs was 3 1/2 years old and refused any and all commands. I searched and was recommended Travis. In 5 sessions MJ has become a completely different dog. He follows commands and he’s become a pleasure to take on walks in the neighborhood. MJ really loves Travis and there is such a strong bond between them. I have so many great things to say about Tharp and Canine! First, I have a reactive 10 month old German shepherd mix. I searched for weeks for different trainers and programs who would take him on, especially ones that weren’t group training since I’ve done something similar before, but he needed something tailored to his needs. I found Travis, who was more than willing to help- but not just help, he takes the time explaining the WHY behind my wild pups behaviors and what I as a handler can do. He didn’t shy away from my little maniacs problems, which has been a huge weight off my shoulders. Him and his wife are literally the best, I don’t know what I would do without them. I had the pleasure of working with Tharp and Canine to help with my high-drive dog, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.
