The Oar House

We had the baked Grouper, fish and chips, popcorn shrimp and the half pound burger. All food was cooked fresh, to order requests and was served hot. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Every staff member passed greeted us and said hello. We sat outside which was beautiful. We will definitely visit again.

The best way to describe this place is FUN! It's so awesome! Mostly outdoor seating on the dock by the marina with calm Waters. Friendly people eating friendly food. There's a sand volleyball court as soon as you walk in and plenty of people playing volleyball. Lots of great decorations. Such a fun time! Food is mostly fried bar food. Although it's pretty good, it's really fresh. We had the fried grouper as well as the fried Gulf shrimp and oysters. Everything was amazing. Nothing fancy, just good. Gulf Coast home cooking.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and decided to try this establishment out. Great decision on our part because upon arrival, we were promptly greeted at the entrance and seated in a beautiful area next to the water. Mady was our server and she did a phenomenal job. She was very attentive to our needs and got our order entered and delivered to the table in no time! Rockstar of a server! The food was very fresh, hot and delicious! My wife had the Baja Tacos, and I had the Grouper W/ Grits (see photos below).WOW!!!! One word! We highly recommend this place to any and everyone pondering on it and we ourselves will be back for a visit very soon!

Very good place to eat and drink at in Pensacola. Everything was great; food, drinks, atmosphere, ... Outside seating and even the inside seemed like you were actually outside with all the windows open. Great views of the marina. Got right in. Great menu selection. The fries were excellent and very crisp like they should be unlike all those other places that have those thick mushy fries. Great prices in comparison to places like Pensacola Beach and Destin.

Great place for sitting indoors or outdoors. You get to enjoy the marina view. Plenty of pelicans flying over the water. Menu has a nice selection of food to choose from. You can get your fish's blackened or grilled. Don't expect any crawdads or crab legs to eat or any boil bags.
