The Local Sports Grill

I stopped in on a Monday after lunch so it wasn't too busy. I really liked the atmosphere there and the weather was nice enough to have the doors and windows open. I love the outdoor patios and will have to take advantage of those next trip over during the evening. The staff was super friendly. I was in the mood for a burger and went with the American double smash with fries and it was quite delicious.

Wings were excellent- perfectly crisp. Great service- Sean at the bar was so friendly, welcoming and took great care of us, and he made an excellent Bloody Mary. We will be back.

This spot is a hidden gem in Glendale. First thing you notice when you walk in is how clean and well-kept the place is , tables, floors, bar, everything on point. You can tell they take pride in the environment.Shoutout to Kristen, the GM, because the operation is clearly being run the right way. The staff is locked in, the vibe is welcoming, and the service matches the quality.Now let’s talk food 🔥I grabbed the 10 wings for $10, and let me tell you… absolute vibe. Fresh, perfectly cooked, sauced just right, and packed with flavor. No dry wings, no shortcuts , just straight quality. You can taste that they care about what they’re serving. If you’re looking for a local sports grill with great food, fair prices, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere, this is it. Whether you’re catching a game or just grabbing a bite, this place delivers. I’ll definitely be back.

My son and I tried this restaurant because it had a pretty high rating. However, I’m not sure why. We had the blue burger and fries which was mediocre at best. Two people had their dogs (not service dogs) in the restaurant. I don’t personally care about that except one of the dog owners put her dog on the table, then the floor, then the chair which is kind of gross. This was a one and done for us.

We’ve been to The Local twice at this point, once when they first opened and again this weekend. We had the same poor experience both times. Unfortunately, the Old Fashioneds were undrinkable. The bartender used sugar packets instead of simple syrup and added a full orange slice instead of an orange peel. After one sip, we left (both times). We gave it a second chance after a friend mentioned good cold beer and to be fair to a new opening, but cocktail execution hasn’t improved.
