Benton Park

I grew up in that whole area for most of my life, and it felt great to re-visit a few years ago and see that there was no trash anywhere, no litter, no graffiti, everything was green, I was proud of my neighborhood.

I don't think I've ever been to this park and from the looks on the picture there's not very much. This is why I like going to Thompson Park even though it's really not any different. It's still a good drive around the whole thing

The park it self was beautiful and the splash pad is great for the kiddos. However, the restrooms were absolute filth. It was so hard to even set foot in there without vomiting. There was feces everywhere and no signs of anyone having been there to clean in days. Absolutely disgusted by the city of Amarillo allowing the public restrooms to be that disgusting.

I would really appreciate it. If the city would consider putting lights around the park. It's pretty dark sometimes. I love jogging there! P.S FYI I don't jog after 9:30😉

I love it at Benton park it's great inviroment got lots great citizenship areas great park got everything for kids to have fun I really do think it can use a better basketball court and also a great base ball soccer filed do to the kids playing soccer and baseball to get ready for the lead as kids
