The Kratewalker was absolutely AMAZING and is officially my new favorite dish! 🤤 This loaded fry combo comes with southern breaded fried chicken, carne asada steak, grilled shrimp, sweet bourbon glaze, garlic aioli, and shredded cheddar… and every bite was packed with flavor. The chicken was crispy and seasoned well, the steak was tender, and the shrimp paired perfectly with the sweet bourbon glaze. The garlic aioli brought everything together perfectly, and the fries underneath soaked up all the flavor. The last time I visited, I ordered the Surf and Turf, which was really good, but the Kratewalker easily became my favorite. I love coming here whenever I visit KRATE at Westley Chapel. This area has such a great variety of restaurants and food options, and this spot is definitely in my top 3 favorites there. I love the ambience. The service was also excellent and made the experience even better. Definitely a must-try!

I tried the Flipn’ Jerk, and wow it was outstanding! The grilled jerk chicken was perfectly spiced with that bold Caribbean kick, topped with melted cheddar, sweet-spicy mango habanero chutney, and creamy garlic aioli. Every bite had incredible flavor layers that had me hooked from the first forkful. We also the Kratewalker it was spot on! Loaded with juicy carne asada steak, plump grilled shrimp, crispy southern fried chicken chunks, sweet bourbon glaze, garlic aioli, and shredded cheddar, all piled on perfectly crispy fries. It’s like the ultimate surf ‘n’ turf ‘n’ chicken party in a basket insanely flavorful and generous portions. The fries themselves are always hot, fresh, and crispy (no soggy disappointments here). If you want some truly great loaded fries with bold, creative toppings, this is THE spot at KRATE. The vibe is fun, the staff is friendly, and it’s the perfect grab in this cool shipping container food hall. I’ll be back soon highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious food! I got the Jerk Chicken Fries and regret not getting a larger portion. The meat was well seasoned with a nice spicy kick to it and every fry had a crispy crunch down to the last one. They don’t skimp on the portion sizes so you are getting your money’s worth. I will definitely be a regular customer here!

Flippin Fries Factory is a great spot inside Krate at the Grove! Service was impressively fast, especially considering how busy the area always is. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and the prices are pretty reasonable for the portions you get. Their main deal is loaded fries, and the menu has some creative options — like Surf n Turf with grilled shrimp and carne asada steak in a honey garlic sauce. I went with the Buffalo Soldier, which comes with southern breaded fried chicken, cheddar cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch over fries. It was amazing! I also ordered a side of garlic Parmesan sauce just to try it. My plan was to dip a plain fry in it, but the fries were so perfectly covered in sauce that there wasn’t a single dry one left! I ended up dipping the saucy chicken in the garlic parm, and the flavor combo was next level. I’d definitely order that sauce with this dish again. The buffalo flavor was spot on — not too spicy, just the right amount of heat. I ordered a small, and it was more than enough food. Overall, great value, great flavor, and definitely worth the trip!

Arrived when opened and it was the first time visiting and I have to say won’t be the last one. The best fries 🍟 ever. We order bacon cheese and the kratewalker. Once again the BEST FRIES EVER. Super crispy the sauce amazing the chicken incredible. A little far from St Pete but I will definitely be back.
