(from Google)Nice family park, kids really enjoy the water park. Plenty of shade with picnic tables. Only down fall is it says it's open until 10 p.m but the only lights turned on are at the bathrooms and dog park, none on the playground area
It was peaceful. We all stopped and ate lunch. There are plenty of shaded picnic tables. The playground was nice. We let the girls play for a little bit. We had our little dog with us and he was allowed, too. We would definitely stop again. There is also a nice dog park right across the street.
Needed a place to chill before our next destination and this park was awesome. Lots of climbing, slides and swings and a lot of shaded seating areas. My daughter played a buttload before leaving, never got bored of it. At least 3 groups were having birthday parties here.
We visited Galveston for the beach, but there was a high cool wind, temps of 60°F so after an hour or so have up and took the grandkids to a nearby park which happened to be here. We were surprised at how well designed this play area was for children of 2 yrs and up, even had a splash pad for the warmer weather. Toilets were clean. Lots of parking
Perfect place for small humans to run out some energy (hopefully all, but no guarantee). There's a smaller playset for the littles and a big one for older kids. Regular swings, handicap swings, and a splash pad! There's covered areas with picnic tables, water fountain for drinking, and restrooms. The park is next to the elementary school. It looks like you're turning into it, but you're not.
