(from Google)Wife and I have been here several times we love to ride the bikes on the trails. Last ride we did was total of 20 miles. We still have not done the complete experience
I finally had the opportunity to ride on this trail. I didn’t like it very much because it has very narrow curves and many detours. If the first time riding it can be very confusing. For example, you may be riding and then have to make a right turn to stay on trail but you can also keep straight. Whoever designed this trail didn’t do a very good job. I do like that there is plenty of shade and it’s near Wolf River. In some areas there are stones etc. This trail also connects with Shelby Farm Greenline via a boardwalk that is slippery when wet. I rode both for a total of 40 miles. There are plenty of benches. There is only that 1 restroom and a few portables on the Greenline. I suggest parking at the very beginning of trail which is where Farmington Blvd intersects with Wolf River Blvd. I parked at Shady Grove Trailhead because I honestly couldn’t tell exactly where the trail began by looking at maps. At shady grove they had a parking space for veterans which was very thoughtful. They may also have them at others parking areas.
Awesome gnarly fun. Bring a bicycle, rollerblades, skates, skateboard,, running shoes, rent a e-bike or e-scooter pick your weapon of choice. Make sure to bring cold drinks. Small cooler is perfect. You won't be disappointed. 🤙🏽😊🤙🏽
Great trail to hike, jog, bike, with many access points and beautiful nature views.
