A real farm with real people. Grateful for this resource for families and 4H activity options. I will be back with our Aussie to practice ;)

I called to get some information about this place and the different classes they have and I was told the intro class to herding was 70 for 30 minutes and I asked what they in the intro to herding class and I was told the look at my dog and see if she likes to herd and talk for 70 dollars for thirty minutes and I asked if there was any thing else they do and Ashley told me to take my business to gig harbor very poor customer service I would say great they showed their true colors before I gave them any of my money

We had our first herding lesson with Ashlee today, and I can’t recommend her enough! She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable with both me and my dog Duffy. She took the time to listen to all of Duffy’s reactivity concerns, explained what to expect, and guided us through everything in a way that made both of us feel confident and comfortable. Her approach made the lesson fun, stress-free, and super educational. Watching Duffy’s instincts kick in under her guidance was amazing, and I left feeling inspired to keep learning with him. Ashlee truly goes above and beyond — we’re so excited for our future lessons!

I brought my dog here for a herding evaluation and it was a lot of fun! I’m glad I didn’t let the bad reviews deter me on trying out this place. Not sure what’s up with the reviews, but we had a great experience! The instructor Ashlee was nice, very knowledgeable and open to answer any questions I had. She also explained the whole process during the evaluation. My dog loved it and was exhausted afterwards - she got a good sleep during our drive home. Since she passed, I plan on taking her back for herding lessons. I read lots of reviews regarding barking, and if the dog is herding/ working barking is totally fine. I’m assuming that what is not fine is if a dog is barking at everything and everyone while making their way in, which makes sense to me. If you have a dog who is reactive towards other people, dogs and farm animals, this might not be the place for your dog and that’s okay. No need to leave bad review without giving full context. Again, I’m glad I went to this place! Parking is easy. I was sent directions on how to sign in and I was a bit confused, but I asked one of the employees and was able to sign in. I can’t speak for the boarding experience, but for the time I was there for the herding evaluation, me and my dog enjoyed the place. It was really awesome seeing all the border collies and sheep working. Can’t wait to be back!

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! Wouldn’t trust these people with a pet rock, let alone a living animal you care about. We have used Fido’s twice now and both times our dog has come back with issues. The first time our dog had bug bites and scabs all over his body. The second time he came back with an ear infection in both ears. Neither time the staff mentioned anything about issues and stated our dog was doing great, which leads me to believe they are very inattentive. Additionally, they said our dog peed his bed, which means they must of left him locked up a long time since he can easily go overnight to 10 hours without going to the bathroom while at home. Furthermore, we paid for extra 1 on 1 time and came to find out after picking him up that they just let him out to play with other dogs more often and didn’t give him any extra human interaction.
