Barking Oaks Pet Resort

I love bringing my dog Jojo here! We do daycare about twice a week and everytime I come I am greeted with a smile and amazing customer service. Haven’t had a single issue and my dog has been coming here for almost a year now. I love the people that work here and Jojo does too! And they always have a fun event going on for the dogs and sometimes I even get pictures of him at daycare. :)

Steven and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing ! They took excellent care of our three dogs for 3 days ! We received regular status updates and pictures of our babies . I highly recommend Barking Oaks to anyone and we will definitely use them again in the future !

I found Barking Oaks when I was personally going through a really tough life change. I suddenly was without someone to watch my puppy or let him out while I was at work. Toni and Hanzy and their incredible team stepped up to the plate. They love Gibbs and welcome him with a smile every morning. Sometimes people play a much bigger role than they will ever know and Ms Hanzy did that by taking over this huge responsibility. We made the drive to Temple, TX to pick up our new puppy—who we’ve named Knuckles—and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, Hanzy (the owner) made me feel completely welcome. She took the time to personally show us every part of the facility, and we were blown away by how clean, organized, and well-run everything was. What really stood out was how genuinely happy and well cared for all the dogs were. You can tell this place isn’t just a business—it’s a passion. Hanzy’s knowledge about dogs and what they truly need was next-level. It gave me so much confidence not only in where my puppy was raised, but in knowing that Barking Oaks is a place that truly puts the animals first. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier pet resort with heart, professionalism, and genuine care.

My dog absolutely adores coming here! He is still a puppy/super athletic and when he comes home he’s so tired!! He has the best time socializing and playing with his pup friends!!! I was a nervous dog mom at first leaving him in the care of complete strangers and they made the transition so so easy by sending pictures and videos and letting me call in to check on him without making me feel an ounce of guilt. I absolutely love this place and can’t recommend it enough. They are the best!
