(from Google)I can’t thank the staff here enough for helping us out when we had a dog emergency while at our cottage. They were so kind and caring and even offered to send notes to our home vet. Thank you so much.

This is long overdue! There are no words that are high enough praise for the incredible compassionate, caring veterinarian that we had when our dog had to be put to sleep. May 6 2025 our day started great with our 14 1/2 year old toy poodle. At 8:30 am our world was upside down. We believe he may have had yet another stroke, he had survived 4 and was still full of life and running around, playing with our other dog. Somehow he was unable to stand, was whimpering in pain, and definitely needed assistance. Our own vet was not available that day. We called Crossroad's, because a friend had a wonderful experience with them about 2 weeks prior with her little dog. The receptionist was able to get us in at 10 am. From arrival, we were treated with the utmost compassion, caring, no pressure to do anything quickly. The technicians were very caring, they as well as the veterinarian Dr. Rowena Limbrick took all the time we needed to explain our options and address all our concerns. She stayed with us talking to us as our dear pup gently quietly passed away in my arms. It was a very calm moment and then she asked if we wanted a nose print, paw print, lock of his hair and they would wrap him in a lovely blanket. We said yes, and had never had this option before. It took a little time for this to be done, but when they presented him to us, they had done such a lovely job of making him comfortable in the wrap and put him in his bed with his favourite toy. There are no words to convey what this meant to us and the heartfelt kindness that was shown us and our pup. If you ever need veterinary care or have to make that difficult decision, I highly recommend this clinic! They truly care ! Sincerely Jill and Rick Coffey❤️
Very good staffs, the great veterinarian and nurses that I ever met with. Clean and tidy waiting area that you can wait indoor with your furry baby, it's so wonderful in these cold snowy days. There's a large parking lot with specific area (lawn) for pups to have their business comfortably.
